QIA met Ghana's Carbon Market Office in Accra to align Land Revive and Thrive with the national carbon market framework.
Ghana has built one of the more developed regulatory environments for carbon projects on the continent — authorisation requirements, a national registry, and rules on how internationally transferred mitigation outcomes are accounted for. Projects that treat that framework as an obstacle tend to discover late that it is a gate. We would rather be early and known to the office that operates it.
We intend to be exemplary within the framework rather than merely compliant with it.
